Should I?

After 3 weeks of surgical posting, I kind of made up my mind to become a surgeon in the future.

But, after being put on the spot to see a ptn in ED upfront and trying hard to dx but failed terribly. This is what the surgeons need to do in seeing an urgent surgical ptn. I am not sure whether I will be able to bear with all the stress and hardwork.

Yup...I know it's always not easy if one wants to excel in something. Be it training to be surgeon or even cooking up a good meal.

After witnessing how "chaotic" a surgeon's life could be (having to wake up in the wee hours to perform surgeries), I am apprehensive about my decision.

But, it's the first time I felt so much into it as compared to the other specialties that I like.

Should I?
