I want to remember today...

Scrubbed in for an inguinal hernia repair surgery..(i know i know..not such a big deal)

But, i was really grateful to the surgeon to let me

see all the structures layer by layer...

cutting thro all the fibres and fats so that i could have a good view of external oblique muscles..

feel the external ring..

feel the spermatic cord...

identify the ilioinguinal nerve...

put my little finger thro the herniated peritoneal sac and feel the intestines...

answering all my "silly and weird" questions...

and talking and making it a very pleasant learning surgery...

I really like surgery...
