Hohoho!!!=)

With a well-rested brain(slept for 8 and a half hours), I went for surg 2 ward round at 7 am...

And I ended up with...

Only 4 inpatients "round-ed"..

2 ED ptns review..

1 met call..

1 emergency laporotomy which then revealed a GI perforation related to non-hodgkin Lymphoma (MALT). Not to mention taking pics of the "HOLE" and weird looking transverse colon.

1 mastectomy..

1 carpal tunnel decompression surgery..

and a fully hyped up ME after seeing a toxic abdo with perforated stomache and DISTENDED transverse colon, pectoralis major muscles in which a live-beating heart is pumping o.O, median nerve (real one)..

still hyper after 6 hours of standing and peeping in between surgeons and under surgeon's arm or armpits..!!!(sigh...medical student wat...)

Oh ya..and a scene where a doctor turning scarily-PALE and nearly fainted in the theatre...hehe...(I hope he doesnt see this)..

I LIKE SURGERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How lah....Now i feel like i like surg too after thinking that Cardio might be interesting, ID might be challenging, Haematology might be interesting too, Renal sounds fun and Neuro has always been mysteriously captivating...

tough choice, tough choice...

haha...
