The actors and actresses rehearsing one of the songs.
The 3 pianists...Chung, Heng Lin(the music captain aka the master pianist) and I...=)The play was a success.. Although there were mistakes here and there, but as a whole all the ppl did really well...Given the short time frame to rehearse and practice, it was such a miracle that almost 70 % of the ticket were sold for the first 2 shows and the finale was full house...Everybody's hard work were paid off.=)
As for me, I really enjoyed playing the piano for the play...Although I didn't really get to play much due to limited time of practicing, it would be one of those moment in my life that I really don't want to forget..Most of the songs are duet...I would be playing the base and Heng Lin would be playing the harmony part...Sitting beside him and looking at how nimble his fingers moved all over the piano keys really amused me...Besides playing accompaniment for the songs, the entire play was also narrated by the piano...playing minor chords when something scary was about to happen, playing transitions when they were changing scenes...I only get to play the simple minor chords..But it was really an eye opener seeing how Heng Lin play songs which fit entirely to the mood of the play...Salute...And I am really glad that I joined...New experience gained...Something that I don't want to forget..Really thank you to Heng Lin...
After one week of rehearsing and performing, it's back to serious business again...Half way through my "skin, bones and joints " block, my brain isn't even half-filled with knowledge...sigh...Chia Huan....study!!!!
I scrubbed in for a surgery today...!!!!=)
Thanks to Dr. Cheng Lo(the plastics registra)..I get to stand beside him and watch how he did an excision of the left preauricular pigmented lesions. Honestly, it wasn't a major procedure. But I get excited just by helping him to cut his stitches and dabbing ptn's blood....haha....I like surgeries....=)
